My First Public VRChat World – Quiet Comforts v1.08

Around a month or so ago Megu published her first decent attempt at making a VRChat World to be used on a daily or frequent basis. A world that you can go to in order to feel comfortable, relax, chat with friends and maybe watch a few things. So here is the VRChat World -> Quiet Comforts!

Have made several updates since it went live adding some features, quality of life improvements and attempting to make it feel more cosey!

Currently we are on version 1.08, we have a bunch of things like sharkies, a nice garden to see and the key feature of the world being the TV Screen in the mirror. This allows you to have both those around you and the screen in focus. There is also a toggle to turn all the garden off, have some curtains down or remove those too, however it has been tested on very good and lesser systems and has no effect on FPS wither you have toggled or not! So don’t feel you have to turn it off for more FPS.

For Update 1.07 and 1.08, Wanted to give a bit more of a view or warmth to the room so it didn’t just feel like empty space outside, giving you the sense of really being somewhere.

Currently the Sharks appear to be local only, which in a way is good because everyone gets a Shark! Also not as fun to see others snuggle with them. So that’s a future update at some point!

Quick Fly update for QoL things and reassurance toggles. They make no FPS different but if you just want to toggle them, you can.

Changes:

 - Added The Garden, no longer will we only see space, but we also see the Garden and Fence, who knows what else will show up in future

 - Added Sync Button Indication

 - Improved Bedroom (Current is just a concept idea)
 - Screen in Spawn room for other Bean Bags

Questie Lighting aren't the best, Don't know how to improve yet
Sharkies are not networked
