Seeking VRChat DJ Manager
Hey all, Moving has pretty much completed apart from a few bits and bobs, I’ll get an update up soon with pics and stuff soon but I sorta wanted to prioritize this post as it’s been on my mind for a long time.
I Do More Than VR DJ Sets
As all of you will know I DJ in VR, what most of you don’t know if you don’t follow me closely is that I also DJ for Final Fantasy XIV Clubs too. In fact specifically for FFXIV I have a DJ Manager which organizes DJ Sets for me to play, just in the sense of being a contact point between clubs and myself. I can’t tell you how much this has done for me as a DJ, it allows me to get sets where normally I don’t know the clubs or don’t have contacts to reach out. This Manager knows the scene, knows the clubs, knows the community! Khang is really great for getting me sets and working with him has been insanely beneficial and I’m so greatful for all his work.
So About VR
I do more than just DJ, I’m “VR Dancing Staff”, Staff for Lap Dance Clubs, I do personal 18+ Content, I do YouTube Shorts/TikTok etc, but I’ve not done so much of that recently due to just being busy with everything. I can’t be everywhere and all the time and well VR DJ Sets are lacking, I get the odd reachout from a few Clubs I’ve played for in the past such as Just Party and Dreaming Reality, which is great, but I would like to be more active in the DJ Club Scene, I can’t always be at clubs mingling and networking, I do hang around after sets for a bit but in my own time and other moments I can’t always hit the clubs etc.
I don’t know if any other DJ’s have this and really I don’t care how other DJ’s operate, I know what I do is more than the average DJ due to me doing other VTuber Content, staffing at certain clubs, Documenting absolutely everything I do for DJ’ing on djmegu.com, DJ Sets, Seperate posts, YouTube Video, HD Audio Downloads. This is my choice and how I want to operate.
To take a bit stress off myself, allow me to have more time for projects and get more exposure to a more veriety of clubs I am looking to take on a new staff member for DJ Megu/Megumi Neko.
The Current Team
THE ROLE – Megu’s VR DJ Manager
As a DJ Manager, you will be responsible for booking and managing DJ Megu Sets, creating and overseeing events on Discord/Website/Google Calender (One Entry Populates all), and working with Megu to ensure best time management and fluid event handling. This role will require that you are active in the VRChat Clubbing Scene. This will be a dedicated role, as Megu’s activity in VRChat clubs will be reliant on you!
Responsibilities:
Book and Manage DJ Sets for VRChat Events
Create and oversee Events within Megu’s Workflow
Be in contact with Active Clubs, New and Old, Megu supports and plays for any.
Stay up-to-date on the latest VR DJ trends and technologies
Optional Tasks [NOT REQUIRED IN ROLE, YOUR TIME, YOUR CHOICE]
Promote VR DJ events
Attend DJ Megu Events and help spread the word about Megu whilst she DJ’s (Social Links etc.)
Twitch Moderation (further down the line if you are active on Twitch)
Discord Moderation (further down the line if you are active on Discord)
Want To Apply?
Megu would really prefer someone that is already aware of the Clubbing Scene in VR, No Managerial experience as such required, we will work on this role together, just the ability to network and mingle will help you in this role, we’ll likely hang out a bunch ^^
